The worst customer service
Been on mint for a year and my husband renewed at the beginning of the year paying for the whole entire year (2025) up front. I got the 5g plan for myself because I don’t leave WiFi much. The second day into the month it said I had used all the data. I hadn’t left the house so we called because it didn’t make sense. The customer service agent we spoke with said it was a problem in their system and that she fixed it and my data should be renewed. When we looked at our account it said I had 15g of data and we figured they gave us a little more to make up for the inconvenience. Then we find two separate charges on our account amounting to $130. We called to get things sorted and they said our plan got upgraded to 15g (which we never authorized) and that the only thing they could do was refund us the charges but couldn’t downgrade the plan. Meaning we would be charged every month for a 15g plan. We stated we didn’t authorize this and never asked to be upgraded and the lady told us she could cancel our plan and our account would be suspended. All of this from a problem on their end. So we are now 3 hours deep into conversation with customer service for issues that they have caused. We’ve talked to 3 different people having to explain everything over again. Their customer service is awful and I cannot even believe the way they have handled things. It’s a great price but their customer service is very poor. Don’t expect an issue to be fixed easily or quickly.
