A problem that was dealt with and a decent outcome.
EDIT After posting a one star review, we were contacted by the branch manager for smart energy to discuss our experience. Liam was kind and considerate and very apologetic, it was clear that the poor service we experienced was not necessarily a reflection on the company, so much as a reflection on one staff member who was having a bad day. That staff member has contacted us to apologise and we were given a gift voucher as way of apology. We feel that they did well to recover the problem and make it right with us. So we have changed our review from one star to 3 stars. However we will be keeping our original review here as a benchmark for anyone else who may deal with the same problems we had in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW We were door knocked by Yossi, a lovely guy who was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Unfortunately that’s where the good things ended, we then met with Eli who was supposed to answer any questions and give us a quote - He was awkward and rude the moment he stepped foot in our house, he often would answer questions with “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” he even answered a few questions with “you just don’t know anything about solar if you’re asking that” I mean DER that’s why we’ve got you here. We have never seen such a rude and dismissive sales person in all our lives. The whole thing was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. We rang yossi back to thank him for his service and won’t be continuing with this company. Apparently we were marked as “quote hunters” because we explained we didn’t know anything about solar and we’re trying to do some research as to whether it is right for us and our home.
