Ordered a watch on Mon 17th March
Ordered a watch on Mon 17th March, received an acknowledgement that it had been ordered from the manufacturer the next day. During 2 calls from myself to request updates/ETA's for delivery of the watch, I was told that the watch was still on back order with the manufacturer and they had no firm ETA, but they did expect it within the next 7-10 working days. I finally gave up and cancelled my order on 23rd May. Again I had to chase for the refund of my payment and was told "all refunds are processed in under 14 working days depending on your bank". On 15th June I chased again, via email, and was finally told on 19th June that it would be processed within the next 24-48 hours. Update following reply from Jura watches: I cancelled my order on Fri 23rd May and requested a refund. On Wed 4th June I chased up for my refund payment. On Wed 4th June Jura watches replied and stated "all refunds are processed in under 14 working days depending on your bank" On Sun 15th June I requested another update. On Thu 19th June Jura watches replied and said due to an IT error there was a breakdown in the refund process ("This order was cancelled but the correspondence di not reach cancelations until the 4th of June"). On Thu 19th June I received notification that the payment had actually been processed. So refund only processed within the timescales that they stated if you ignore the period between my initial cancellation and me chasing up for an update.
