Choose your contractor wisely
“We feel it is important to share our experience with Frog Construction Ltd for the benefit of the Rochdale community. We recently discovered that building regulations will not sign off on our project due to incomplete work. We attempted to contact the contractor, but we are receiving no responses. The situation has been difficult; we had to terminate the contract due to significant delays that breached the terms and implied conditions of our agreement. Additionally, we had to pay some of the building regulations fees again, as our previous payments were not transferred by the contractor. We also incurred extra costs to remove a skip after the contractor refused, and he did not take responsibility for repairing damage caused by the work in our home. To add to this, we have received threatening messages from subcontractors engaged by the contractor which have been reported to the local police, and we had to send a cease and desist letter after learning that the contractor had been speaking negatively about us. We have sought legal advice and are filing small claims paperwork to address these issues. We are sharing our experience to provide transparency and help others make informed decisions when choosing a contractor
