Speed good attention to detail VERY poor
The general processing and speed of the delivery of my upgrade iPhone 16 Pro was good but that's where it ends. Firstly, the phone was ordered through the handset updrade path. When the new phone arrived it also had a new SIM which I thought nothing of, I spent the morning transferring data and fitting the new screen protector and case, then attempted to transfer my existing O2 number to the new SIM, that's where it all went wrong. After spending around 1hr 20 minutes on the phone between O2 and Mobile Phones Direct, it appears this was processed as an additional SIM contract of which I would be billed additionally each month. Between O2 and MPD it seemed there was nothing they seemed to be able to do other than for me to process a return of the phone which I have now done. The outcome, over half a day of my time wasted along with a wasted £15 screen protector, a £15 case I have no phone for and £13.45 Royal Mail special delivery cost, then I may also be charged futher money from my upfront payment by O2, which I now have to wait 10 days to find out. A very poor and costly experience.
