Today November 25th 2024, my wife and I visited freenet Mobilfunk at Fuhlsbüttler Str. 124, 22305 Hamburg, to resolve an issue with a SIM card we had purchased from the company. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply frustrating and disappointing. When we explained the problem, the person at the counter immediately asked where we had originally set up the contract. We mentioned it was at a MediaMarkt. His response shocked us: "Go back there. Why are you here? They are getting your money, not me. Why should I serve you with that?" He then went on to say, "If you give me 20 euros, I will help you; if not, just go back to your place." We had already traveled a long way to get to this shop, hoping for assistance, and this unprofessional and dismissive behavior left us both feeling demeaned and frustrated. While we understand that certain policies might restrict services to specific locations, the situation could have been handled far better. The staff member’s tone and attitude were entirely unnecessary and left a very negative impression of both the shop and the company. We expected much better from freenet Mobilfunk, and this experience has made us seriously reconsider using their services in the future.
