Bike Services were not able to support…

Bike Services were not able to support dispatch times promised by Cycle Revolution, where the bike was purchased from, of within three days. This is compounded by the fact that Bike Services outsource delivery to a third party partner, Byeways Logistics. who refused to collect the bike as requested by cycle Revolution as they were not "in the area"! When contacted they didn't provide confidence for timely delivery either, only promising to deliver when in my area! The original order was placed on Friday 9th August and I was hoping to have the bike for this weekend 17/18th August, a forlorn hope I think! I have raised a formal complaint with cycle revolution and await their formal response. Informally, they do not appear to be able to influence the outcome. Most disappointing, I would have hoped for better. Sadly things have gone from bad to worse! Having agreed a revised delivery slot aimed at 11:00AM on Sat 17th August with the General Manager of Bike Services and agreed appropriate compensation being paid, the delivery time was missed, meaning cancellation of personal arrangements. The delivery driver did contact me at 12:15, but then called back to say he did not have the bike on the lorry! The General Manager is to call on Monday 19th Aug. with the hope that a third attempt at delivery will be successful and that series compensation is offered, which is acceptable. Pleased to say the issue was handled very professionally by Bike services, who accepted responsibility for their delivery shortfall and took appropriate exceptional action to enable delivery Monday PM, coming from Nottingham. The General Manager followed up with an acceptable compensation offer that I was happy to accept. In the circumstances I will raise the rating to three stars.

A disappointing experience.

This is the first time I have ordered with Vanatis UK and was not aware the products are shipped from France. I was disappointed with my experience. The order was placed on 10th December, which I would have thought was plenty of time for a pre christmas delivery. Initial progress was swift, but there was no further progress with the order from 11th Dec until 22nd Dec., eleven days! However the most frustrating aspect is that there is no Customer Contact Telephone Number or email address to contact the company. One is required to send a message from the web site. I did this three times and not once did I receive a reply with an update! I am pleased to say however the order was delivered in time for Christmas. I would have to consider very carefully about taking the risk and using Vinatis in the future. A disappointing experience.
