Bitdefender corporate hypocrisy instead of owning their commercial mistakes.
I pruchased a license from a reseller for bitdefender for a product TOTAL SECURITY. They told me it is described on Bitdefender website. It turns out the same name is used on their website to describe something else. so after i activated it it turns out password manager is not included. When i contacted support, they told me it is a different version and they are not responsible for their resellers although they named it exactly the same and there is not indication of new or old version and using the SAME NAME of the product. It was surprising that they do not own up to their obvious mistake of commercial clarity by simply naming the product of different versions the same name. Yet they were rude enough to simply make it at the reseller's fault that they cannot do anything about. Their policy does not allow them to fix it etc.. The reseller will not refund it because it was activated and guess what the reseller put the policy blame of no refund on the Bitdefender vendor. So pure corporate hypocrisy. I simply told them that this is the end of Bitdefender for me and my organization. I would recommend Norton 360 or Kaspersky to be a better option and i would go with them on renewal for sure.
