Samsung Warranty is a Joke — No Repair, No Replacement
This review is coming under my son's name. I am not sure why, but the complaint is from Barbara Cuesta. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 in January 2025, which is still under warranty. In June, the screen began flickering badly. I contacted Samsung and followed all their instructions: visited multiple repair centers, provided photo and video evidence, and even called from inside the store as requested. Despite all of that, I was repeatedly denied service — one store said I had to file an insurance claim because of a "black dot" on the screen. Samsung then told me this was a manufacturer defect, not physical damage, and gave me a reference number for a second store. That store also refused to help, and Samsung’s reps kept contradicting each other. Eventually, I was told to ship my phone to Texas for repair, which would take 10+ days — with no loaner device, which I can’t afford to do since I need my phone for work. I escalated my case to the Office of the President, but still only received delays and no solution. It’s been weeks with no working phone, and Samsung is refusing to honor their own warranty. This has been frustrating, exhausting, and frankly unacceptable for a premium product and brand. I’ve now filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and Florida Attorney General’s Office. All I’m asking is for Samsung to stand behind their product and either replace the defective phone or repair it locally as promised.
