Poor Gas boiler service and customer service
We have been a loyal customer with BordGais energy for gas and electricity. After repeated calls from sales team we booked a gas boiler service from BordGais energy to try instead of our regular guy due to various reasons. The service engineer came, opened the boiler panel, took pictures and said it was broken and should be replaced. When I asked if he could repair it, he said he only services the equipment and won't be repairing or installing and that we should contact localheroes.ie to book a replacement. This was on a saturday afternoon, we didn't have hot water or heater for 2 days and our regular guy was able to come and fix it on Monday. When we informed customer care to complain, they told us that we will be charged the call out fee anyway and we should have noted the terms and conditions properly before booking. We were very disappointed with the service and wanted to warn others to get a second opinion before deciding to replace.
