THEY PAID OUT VAST SUM WITHOUT MAKING CONTACT....
My Army Veteran husband had just died; it was a horrendous death and affected me adversely. However, I had to get his car MOTd and duly did at local garage. However, on collecting car I damaged some other customer's car although my husband's car had NO marks whatsoever. In the end my younger son gave details of car insurance we assumed we had with SAGA ast the time. But this car was now SORN and the bill for repairing the other car started off under £1 k whilst offering me £700 for my dead husband's car. In the end and with NO KNOWLEDGE AT ALL I am being pursued by this garage for £4,400 (or a bit more) because SAGA did not inform me that they were declining the claim and have just fed me to the dogs....no wonder I have PTSD ..... it is bad enough to have one's husband die in such horrendous circumstances in a NHS hospital (no pain relief given and staff too busy to help) so he died in pain and drowned in his own blood and SAGA have just made my life not worthwhile.....how this bill escalated is disgusting and I know what little damage was caused. But SAGA FAILED ME MISERABLY BY NOT EVEN LETTING ME KNOW HOW MUCH THE LOCAL GARAGE WAS DEMANDING, WHAT WAS BEING DONE AND THEN BEING ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.....BEWARE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES...NOT ALL GREAT AS MY E XPERIENCE PROVES. IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN AT THE TIME AS THIS WAS IN 2023 AND NOW I AM IN A DESPERATE PLACE. THANKS SAGA FOR FAILING ME....AND SENDING ME INVITATION LETTER TO RETUREN TO YOU AS YOU ARE SO TRUSTED MAKES ME FEEL ILL....
