Extremely Disappointing Experience with Underfloor Heating Purchase
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience with this company after a purchase that has left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned. I invested over £4,500 in underfloor heating, plus an additional 15 bags of self-levelling compound, which included latex. It's been over three weeks since the installation, and the strong latex smell is still permeating throughout the house. As a parent of young children, aged 3 and 5, this lingering odor is more than just an inconvenience—it's a serious concern for their health. Given that the underfloor heating has yet to be turned on, I’m anxious about the potential impact of this smell once the system is operational. To address the issue, I reached out to the company to see if they could offer a better price on a self-levelling compound without latex. Unfortunately, I was met with unhelpful responses. They claimed they were unaware that latex could leave such a persistent smell and were unable to differentiate between the types of self-levelling compounds. This is despite their earlier assurances that they were well-versed in their products and provided thorough advice before making the sale. It seems that once they had my money, their level of knowledge and customer service significantly declined. I feel like I was misled and left in a difficult situation without any support or solutions. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from this company to think twice. The lack of support and inadequate knowledge after the sale has left me feeling deeply frustrated and concerned about the well-being of my family.
