Inconsistent clinicians, beware!
If I could give zero stars I would. It started with me ordering a prescription (weight loss related). I had to jump through lots of hoops because I hadn't used their service in over 10 years but that was fair enough. I had to send photos of myself etc, again all fully understandable. The clinician I spoke to was amazing, very professional and helpful BUT there was an issue with my account that meant I had to delete my Lloyds pharmacy online account and open a new one - all of this was acceptable as, not having used the account for sooooo long, and the last time it had been used was to order meds for my mum, it would have caused chaos to keep using it - I took full responsibility for that as it was my error so I wasn't at all put out that I had to cancel, get a refund, and start over. The clinician kindly sorted it all out (he really did go above and beyond and fully deserved 5 starts), reassured me I'd get my meds once I registered as he'd checked my request and all was ok, and deleted my account so I could start a new one. Great NOT!!!!! I opened a new account and this time had to jump through 3 times as many hoops, sending in not only photos but videos. Ok, frustrating when I'd already done it but fair enough, I reluctantly did it all again. I then get an email saying great, everything had been done, my meds were approved, I had my order number, the do's and dont's of the meds sent to me, and I'd be sent an EVRI tracking link that evening to track my delivery. I was over the moon 😁😁 And then, a few hours later, I get a message saying a different clinician decided to say no, they needed even more videos which would involve me going buying weighing scales. Now, the meds I was ordering were £169 plus postage. I don't keep a set of scales at home as they don't exactly promote a good feeling yet here I was being told to go buy some or I couldn't get my order. I was fuming! Ok, so due diligence and all that but my issue is the inconsistencies. Why did the 1st clinician approve me based on photographic evidence and ID (plus full medical history obv). Then the second person approved me based on a video and ID (and full medical history obv). So much so I get a confirmation email with all the necessary info I needed. Then a few hours later a third clinician says no, not until I provide another video. Why are you not all on the same page here? I mean, you're not even in the same book, or library for that matter!?!?!? Why are some clinicians saying yes while others say no? It's a bit of a russian roulette as to who you get and whether you get your meds based on that. Hence, when it comes to due diligence and compliance, it really is pot luck here! Maybe an internal review might be beneficial huh! Just to make sure you are all actually giving the same advice and reviewing patients correctly because, at the moment, it would honestly seem that you aren't (and I have the emails and messages to prove the disparities between you). The upshot, I asked for a full refund and went elsewhere and got approved but I'll never use Lloyds online again. Total shambles.
