BEST prices we could find on comparable car, GPS hire, car seat hire and also full car cover/ insurance. We paid $520 NZD for a People Mover (Tarago style) for 8 days including the above extras and also the after hour fee as we arrived in late. Service was excellent, and questions answered promptly. Although the car was an older model, which we expected due to the price, it was clean and in great condition with everything already fitted and ready to go. We weren’t worried about the look of the car, rather that the total price fit in our budget, which it certainly did, and even less than what we thought it would cost. The vehicle met our needs and we were really happy with the everything. After dropping our car off at the end of the rental period we were told we’d have to wait about 10-15 minutes for the shuttle back to the airport. But once the attendant (who turned out to be the owner) saw there were 6 of us, with two toddlers, he told us to jump back in our car and he’d take us to the airport himself so we didn’t have to wait. So from our experience we would definitely recommend Mint Rentals to anyone looking to hire a safe, clean and very affordable vehicle in Auckland. Their service and pricing is 10/10 👍🏼
