The delivery guy showed up 3 hours…
The delivery guy showed up 3 hours early and was made because I wasn't home. He called my phone 17 times while I was still at work which caused me trouble at work for having the phone ring so much. Once I did talk with him he tried to tell me I would HAVE to help him move the furniture in because the other guy went home sick. I explained to him that if I'm moving my own furniture then what's the point in paying for it to be delivered. Then with all that being said he decided to recruit a neighbor's son to help him without my permission on if I wanted a stranger in my home. Also the delivery guy was so upset that I wasn't home when he wanted me to be and that I wouldn't move my own furniture in to were he decided to tumble roll the nightstand up my steps which cause damage to the nightstand and he placed the dresser upside in the bedroom which cause me to have difficulty in flipping it over and getting it out the box. After all that I called the store to speak with a manager about the situation and the only solution he had was that I bring the nightstand back to the store for a replacement which I found odd because if I was able to move/transport the furniture myself then I would have order for any of it to be delivered. i never received any apology for his employee behavior or actions/conduct nor any compensation for my experience considering the cost was an expense I had to cover. The whole experience was very disappointed and unsatisfactory being that my line of work is Customer Service and I know what Great Customer Service looks and feels like!
