Best holiday I’ve had for years…
Best holiday I’ve had for years cruising the Adriatic coast on the MV Amorena. The ship was beautiful and also sparkling clean. The crew were efficient and friendly. The food which appeared from the sparkling kitchen was very good. The scenery was beautiful and there was an included guided tour at most ports. The guides were all knowledgeable and this was augmented by our tour manager, Bobby, who was a mine of information. Bobby was organised and personable and made sure that everything ran smoothly and we were all fully informed of the itinerary. We had mixed weather during our week including one particularly squally day. Again advice was given regarding motion sickness and the crew did their utmost to keep us comfortable. When the weather was good there were plenty of sun beds on deck and we stopped for a very bracing dip in the sea. My only criticism would be that communication with Titan prior to the holiday could have been better. They failed to inform us that our pick up time for the airport transport had been put back an hour. Luckily the driver phoned us so we weren’t left worrying when the transport didn’t turn up on time. It would help if Titan gave information regarding check in ie that you just have to present yourself with your passport. No tickets or boarding passes required. It would just alleviate the worry of not knowing. Otherwise a very enjoyable holiday.
