Persistent platform disruption
Explore learning have persistent connection issues with their online portal, which result in your child being kicked out of their timed learning session, and then requires wasted time attempting to log back in. We signed up with Explore Learning in April 2024 to help our daughter try to catch up on her English and Maths. From the first session our daughter was repeatedly kicked out of the session and there were clear issues with the platform. However as the session continued weekly, the problems persistent. We reported the issues and were always met with the problem possibly being our end, despite both family members working from home for several years without these kinds of issues. We were told to sit our child next to the router when she was on her learning sessions. Which was not possible and not a very comfortable and positive learning space for a personalised tutor to conduct an online session. We tried changing tutors and while this was mildly better we still experience issues during the course of the term and now have not been able to joing the last 2 session. We have complained on more than one occasion and have asked for a refund as our daughter has not been able to learn. Explore learnings response is that IT will look into the issue. They are always keen to keep the direct debit going even with major disruptions and then say its too late to refund your money. I would not recommend this service to others, friends or family as there service is insufficient Choose a different learning platform
