Do not overpay for crappy pedicure!

Do not overpay for a less than mediocre pedicure. I want to start by saying that I gave management The opportunity to make this right. I typically only post positive Reviews but it's been almost a week and I have yet to receive a phone call from management after being told they would reach out. First off, beautiful spa, beautiful amenities, and the facial was everything! They were pretty busy this day so I booked a pedicure since massages were no longer available, which is totally fine. When I booked myself for the appointment it was noted that I would pay extra for having shellac on my toes, again totally fine with it. When I showed up to my appointment the tech was rather annoyed that I had shellac. I told her that I notified them of that when I made the appointment and that I had agreed to paying the extra fee. She was extremely rough on handling my feet, cut my toes and when I pulled my foot back and said “ouch”, she aggressively grabbed my foot and pulled it back towards her. I even told her “I think you cut my toe”. Once I put my toes in the hot water I realized that my long toes on each foot had been cut by the way she was filing my toenails and trying to buff out the shellac. The nail polish job was so bad and it's so difficult for me to speak up for myself when I'm not happy with a service, but I did because of what I was paying and I asked her to please fix my toenails because they looked bad. She then said to me that it was because of the shellac, which again I paid extra for her to remove. I quite honestly could have done better myself. They're not even filed straight and you can see where she cut me. I was nearly in tears when I reported to the cashier that I was extremely dissatisfied with my pedicure so he offered to take off 15% and told me that a manager would reach out and then proceeded to ask me if it was OK to include the 20% tip for all of my services today. Of course, I agreed because I wasn't going to take it out on the others who had done a wonderful job of treating me that day, but I have to say I am very disappointed in the poor quality of my pedicure and the fact that I paid extra for a rather crappy job! I'll be back but I'll be sure to never get a pedicure here again, at least not by Miss J___. Spend your money on another service!
