Get No Refund on fixing a broken valve
I am writing because I needed to pay and got no REFUND at AUD 45 for a broken tyre valve when returning. I asked to get a refund because if it was about the valve it should be a mechanical problem but not how I drove the car. I rented a car from Northside because my ordered car hadn't arrived yet, so I was just driving on normal road to go grocery. If I drove the car on rough road or far away that would have been my problem however I didn't! CS replied me as that:"The damaged valve would have happened while on hire with yourself as all vehicles are mechanically checked before going out on hire." Well it may be true but as a customer I would think a punctured tyre be my responsibility but not for an untightened valve on a rather old car. For the car it was really old and full of scratches and that explained the rental cost from Northside beats its competitors. To be fair, the engine was on good condition and could have given a good strike while I needed to accelerate to overtake someone.
