It’s was great not having to book flights, even though the flights getting there were longer that what we anticipated, I thought we were going to be given a choice on which way to travel there but we weren’t. The hotels we excellent, Hotel inLas Vegas was the New York New York we had be fortunate to have stayed there twice before so we were happy with the choice, the New York hotel was amazing also 30min walk to Times Square great views, Rome hotel was more than what we expected as it was our first visit to Rome and didn’t know what to expect but we were very pleased with the hotel that was assigned to us. The cruise well we booked the New York to Rome cruise and even before we let to go on our holiday 3 ports were cancelled 😡 and then when we left New York well we didn’t as we docked in the Hudson River for the night which means we were about 12-14 hours behind no fault of My Cruises but NCL cruise line, we lost another port so we had 10 nights at sea The staff on the NCL Epic we not friendly at all some were very nasty. I in fact had found on the floor near the service desk $1,300 USD and handed it in gave them my cabin number hoping the person lost it went and claimed it, soon the last day I went to the service desk to ask if the money had been claim per only to be told in a rude manner that they can’t tell me anything ! I only hope the person who lost it did claim it other wise that money was never to be Seen again. Another thing port taxes on drinks and anything else you buy while is port is a disgrace you’ve already paid for all your port taxes and your cruise including the drink package and you’re expected to pay tax while you’re sitting in. Port we had gone to one of the paid restaurants and we had already left. Port and the casino was open we were not charged for on our drinks but we were charged in the restaurant not only for charges but gratuities as well even though that was already paid. Also we got a tour from the ship so when you get a tour from the ship it’s from the ship back to the ship. This was in Barcelona. We got a hop on hop off bus the first bus we got on was not our real bus we had to go to a terminal then we had to wait at least an hour to 2 hours in a line to get on the bus Then when we’re on the bus we were told it was going to take about two hours to do the trip I did ask about the last bus leaving to get back to the ship and was told the last bus was at 3:30 pm after we got around just about done one hole that we wanted to get off at. Stop number one. The bus driver told us that he couldn’t go to bus stop number one and he had to stop at number two which was around 30 to 45 minute walk When we get back to where the bus dropped us off we waited but there was no shuttle bus to take us back to the ship so we ended up spending six euros to take a bus to the port and the way NCL handle this was disgusting. It was like a tennis ball you go to one counter they sent you to another then you go to the other counter then they say oh no you have to email when you get home. I said we will never sell NCL again and they were like who cares? Great customer service from NCL not Our flights and our accommodation booked by my cruises never had a problem at all thank you for a trip lifetime.
