Caution if you pause your account

I placed one order (12 meals) and paused my account so I was quite alarmed when I received Sprinly emails the following Monday stating that another 12 meals were on their way. I immediately notified my credit card company and discovered (as if their business practices couldn't get any more suspect), Sprinly actually billed me 2x for the same order (3 days apart) for a total of over $400 for food I did not want. Customer service did confirm my account was paused and I would not be responsible for the charges.
