Trust or not. Trust restored
Started off well. Just wanted my bike serviced by a triumph dealer to verify its status.they serviced the bike I then received a call to say I need new tyres so I agreed to put a new set on ( Pirelli diablo) at £200. Which I thought wasn’t too bad. That night just before they closed I picked up the bike, jumped on and drove off, approached the main road applying the brakes to my surprise no brakes then a loud clunk, rear brake came back on, I had a Quick Look as it was dark I didn’t see anything out of place, so Carried on home slowly, next day I inspected the brake system found the rear anchor for the rear calliper was not seated and the brake pipe was fully stretched. I contacted them they came and took the bike, reseated the calliper and stated that the brake pipe was ok. In conclusion when leaving any bike into them be very wary your life could depend on their ability.. this could have had a very different outcome if I had of been travelling at speed. They said they would contact me with the results of their internal investigation. Still waiting !!! Up date: I have been in contact with Philip him self and he been very helpful and has rectified my issue. It just took some communication on both parties and am extremely happy with the outcome. And I would recommend talking to them first..
