unspent service charges
I am not sure if this is good or bad - it is just so unexpected. In this year's annual accounts there is £13,644 for 'carried forward unspent service charges' which is more than the bank balance of £8,268. I am not an accountant but where is the £5,376 difference held - in hand? Obviously 'unspent' does not mean money not spent - you work out the double negative, because I cant! To make things less obvious the 'BROUGHT forward unspent service charges' were £10,763; so that means £2,881 was not spent this year, but the previous year's bank balance was £7,588 so we only banked an additional £680 for the whole year! 'tis a real puzzle.
