139 Queens Crescent, Post Office, Terrible !!!Avoid at all costs
I arrived at the post office at 9:30 AM, expecting it to be open (since it’s supposed to open at 8:30 AM). To my surprise, it was still closed, with no sign explaining why. There was no information posted on the door to let customers know what was going on. The postmaster was behind the counter, so I’m not sure why the office was closed. There were about 10 people waiting in line, and by around 10:00 AM, we knocked on the door to ask what was happening. After waiting for 30 minutes, we just wanted some answers. The postmaster came to the door and told us it would be "just 2 more minutes." Everyone was relieved, as we all have busy lives. The website also confirmed the post office was open. But then, we waited another 20 minutes! People started leaving in frustration. After the postmaster promised two minutes, it was still another 20 minutes before the office finally opened at 10:20 AM, making it a 55-minute wait just to send a parcel. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Just the week before, I had a similar experience and left a negative review online, pointing out the terrible timekeeping of this post office. A simple solution could have prevented all of this—a sign on the door to inform customers about the delay would have been enough. It’s such a basic thing to do, yet it wasn’t done. This lack of communication is unacceptable, and the poor service continues to be frustrating. I’ll be leaving reviews online everywhere about this branch, as that feels more effective than directly complaining to the Post Office. This is a very disappointing experience, and I hope the new postmaster can learn from these mistakes.
