Property Lettings
We gave our property to this company and gave them all necessary paperwork including the registering the Landlard with the Council and although we completed one year of the tenancy with the rental monies coming a few days later then the tenancy date on monthly basis with batch payments made overnight which meant that we got the money next following date after the payment invoice was sent via email. When we had completed the one full year, coming to the next extension, we agreed with the tenants approval the we would increase the rent and they sent us the new Terms and Conditions of business. This documents which read and reviewed found that the small prints states conditions such as if we has to sell during the tenancy period, they would take a 6% of the selling cost even if we did not use them which was unacceptable to us. We stated that we would like to take our property back. Now this situation not only coursed us unnecessary hassle but the conversation with the management staff was not only rude and unprofessional but was told that they would communicate with the tenant and advice not to move out of the property until legal action is taken by the landlord. Although they denied the conversation, but this is what had happen as stated. They served the Notice to the Tenant giving them two months notice. After the expiry we took one year to apply for the Count for Possession Order and Apply for Bailiff Warrant. Although the tenant had continued the pay the rent and had to pay for all the Court costs, this would have been all unnecessary with me giving the Management an offer of taking the tenant under our management with giving a percentage as introduction fee which they refused and would not allow us to negotiate until we were had received call to say that the tenant was moving out. Again the process that they carried out the post inspection after the tenant had moved out and it took following week for us to receive the report. we found that upon our own inspection the damage caused by the tenant was missed out on the report. When it came to Rent deposit we found that the tenant had paid the agent the court cost which they had kept for some period without passing to us. They also had to try and negotiate with the tent deposit paid which we claimed and not sure who they had been representing. We also found that when we went to collect the key for the property, the cold reception given us was unprofessional and quarried about the second set of keys they stated that they will forward it. After few days, they returned the keys but they looked like a new set was cut and not the original that we had provided them. We lost one year of the rent increase of 1200 ponds with this company and all the unnecessary time lost for us to recover our property. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR TRUST THEM TO MANAGE ANY OUR PROPERTY AGAIN. WE ARE GOING TO PUT OUR COMPLAINT TO THE OMBUDSMAN TO CHECK THIS COMPANY'S OPERATING THIER BUSINESS.
