Erroneus?
My Father received a bill from Rebel Energy in September, we were waiting for a new supplier after having Solar Panels fitted so I assumed this was the new supplier - depsite being told that Octopus would be taking on the contract. Rebel did not supply any details on the tariff so I called them to establish how they had been allocated the Supply. They claimed that they had either called my Father (his number is TPS registered) or it may have been an erroneus transfer. I challenged them repeatedly to provide evidence of the transfer or conversation, they were unable to do so. I believe they may have actually spoke to my Father but he has no recollection of any conversation. I honestly believe they are calling vulnerable customers and transferring them onto their tariffs. Reported to TPS / ICO and requested that Rebel void any contract and immediately return my Father to his original supplier. This might not be fraudulent but is certainly sharp practice. Not happy at all
