Horrendous customer service

I have just had a horrendous experience with simply conveyancing. I started the process of the sale of my flat in May and it has only just completed at the end of November. It took them 3 months to start working on my files and apply for my flat management pack, which should have been applied for as soon as they were hired. I originally chose to use simply conveyancing as I liked the sound of everything being on an app. However, it is not. You have to use a desktop to complete the majority of the paperwork which was very inconvenient for me. I also used the app to message them and was never responded to. The app is utterly pointless. During the process, my files were passed between a number of solicitors which made it really difficult when trying to contact them. Don’t expect them to pick up the phone unless you call them a few times and don’t expect them to respond to emails within a few days. By the end of my sale, the top of my chain was ready to drop out due to the incompetency of simply conveyancing. I was having to call my solicitor on a daily basis and give very clear instructions on how to do his job. There was no common sense to follow up emails with phone calls when there was no response from my buyers solicitor or management company even though I had stressed the urgency of the situation. I was having to call my management company to chase up enquiries. As the customer, I should not have had to tell him what to do or had to chase things up myself. They made what should have been an exciting time stressful and like a full time job for me.
