Be careful of misleading prices

I booked a hotel through this website because it showed better prices compared to other platforms on Google maps. During the booking process, the price was shown including taxes and fees, so I reasonably assumed it was the final amount. However, after booking, I was told I needed to pay an additional 12% in taxes upon check-in (with no additional information). They later claimed this was stated in the check-in policy. But this kind of information shouldn’t be buried in fine print. It should be clearly communicated before you finalize your booking. This feels deceptive and left a very bad impression. I will never book through this platform again.
