LAZY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY
EDIT: After posting my initial reviews, Jose from Great Jones contacted me quickly to resolve the issues. Most of the move in fixed have been finished. However, after 3 months in the home I am still waiting on the screen doors to be fixed/installed. My family relocated from Oregon to Gainesville. My husband did a walk through of a home from Great Jones. We went ahead and filled out the applications, and paid our first months rent as well as our pet deposit all using their online portal. Our move in date was for 10/1/19, even though we paid our first months rent in full Great Jones changed our move in date to 10/9/19. By changing the date it voided our previous lease and wouldn't allow me to resign the new lease. Let me reiterate the importance of this part here: WE SIGNED A CONTRACT AND GREAT JONES CHANGED IT ON US. Once we finally moved in to the unit we were informed we were supposed to walk through with a supervisor to request items in the house to be fixed. This never happened. I called the Great Jones support line to request to sign the lease they had changed on us, or for maintenance requests, none of which were addressed. The home was completely filthy and covered in cockroaches and insect feces. The microwave door falls off when opened. 3 rooms needing special light bulbs were all burned out and not replaced. 4 interior doors do not latch or even close properly. The screened in porch is not screened in and is not able to be used as it was intended. The garbage disposal is completely rusted and broken which resulted in a clogged sink. The plumber they sent out to fix the sink/disposal didnt even address the disposal and charged me the $125, still leaving me with a broken disposal. I have been in this unit for almost a month now, and nothing has been fixed. Do not rent from these folks. You'll end up paying $1650/month for a house that is broken. **I'll edit my post if Great Jones fixes these issues**
