Poor experience – lack of communication and misleading stock information
I placed an order with Jura Watches on May 15th, under the impression that the item was in stock and available for next-day delivery, as stated on their website. However, on May 16th, I received an email informing me that the watch would be shipped from Garmin directly, and that they were unable to provide a delivery date until it arrived with them. This was not made clear at the time of purchase. Despite patiently waiting, I received no further updates. After nearly two weeks of silence, I called on May 29th and spoke to a helpful representative named Leah. She was the only positive part of this experience—friendly, informative, and genuinely tried to assist by checking with her manager regarding delivery estimates and offering a goodwill gesture (either a complimentary strap or a £30 refund on an £850 watch) should I choose to continue with the order. Leah later got back to me via email to say that the watch likely wouldn’t arrive until the end of June—meaning I would have been waiting well over a month for something advertised as in stock. At that point, I requested a refund, which Leah processed the same day. I was told it would take 7–10 working days. Unfortunately, the refund did not arrive by the 10th working day. I called again and was told it would be processed within 24–48 hours. That time passed, and still nothing. I had to call again and spoke with another representative who seemed disinterested and dismissive. He said the refund should arrive the following day—and thankfully, it finally did. For comparison, I ordered the same watch from Ernest Jones after this ordeal, and it was dispatched within a day. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and frustrating refund process make it very hard for me to recommend Jura Watches. Leah was fantastic, but the company itself left much to be desired. I’d suggest avoiding this retailer unless you’re willing to chase them for updates and wait far longer than expected.
