We took the Alaska cruise from Anchorage. The trip was very informative and comfortable. However, a note of caution. I contracted COVID on the trip despite vaccinations and 3 previous COVID infections. A friend had a recent similar experience on a Viking rhine excursion. Viking used to screen for COVID but travelled and other cruise companies apparently objected. There were also influenza cases on the Alaska trip. I would think having a covid test kit and a few days of paxlovid might be worth thinking about

We went to the Greenville sc drury inn…

We went to the Greenville sc drury inn and suites to get away from the effects of Helene in Asheville. The place was a great refuge for us. The manager Shay Wiener is absolutely the best . He saw that everyone was satisfied with the service and the 2 free meals. The staff were very welcoming and they worked all the time to make sure that the hotel was clean and fresh. The pool both indoor and outdoor wer a personal refuge. Thank you so much!!!!!
