Our business was predominantly based on industrial and commercial waste, factory clearance and cleaning services. We started using HX to fill our trucks on outbound journeys. Two years on and having built a good reputation and gained valuable contacts via HX, haulage has become a major part of our service offering. Yes, there are many brokers on HX who have never run trucks and just look to take a margin, there are poor payers and there are some less than honest operators, but to be fair, we get that in all avenues of our business and if you're smart you can quickly sift them out HX is a bidding platform so naturally you will rarely get top dollar for work performed within the platform but you can build relationships that will allow you to achieve decent rates outside the platform. In our experience, joining HX has proved to be a very good decision.
