Great company
Great company. I’ve been purchasing wine through Wine Spies for approximately a year and I’ve been happy with how they do business. It’s rare that anyone undersells them when they offer a wine. They offer many boutique wines that I have difficulty finding at any local store. I like the feature where they’ll store the wine and let you decide when to ship. And I find the write-ups on the wines accurate and amusing at times, which I appreciate. I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant to make my first purchase due to the lack of transparency of the individual(s) behind the company. That’s probably because I’m older and prefer to know the individuals I’m dealing with. I still wish they would give the names of the people you deal with and perhaps even have a write-up about them. But other than that, I have nothing but positive things to say and recommend doing business with them.
