No available customer support by phone
I've been with Mint for about two years, and have to say their coverage gradually improved but their customer service has not. I have to talk to a human being once. The best you can hope for is to get the chatbot to transfer you to an operator. I lost my phone on December 7 and paid for a replacement SIM on December 8. On December 16 I finally got a human on the chat to ask for a tracking number and they confirmed that my SIM had never been sent out to me, that the order had be canceled for some reason. I asked for confirmation that they were sending one out, and they said their team would reach out to me within four hours. Nothing. I get back on the chat and get the chatbot to transfer me to an operator. They apologize and tell me it was sent out that day and that a tracking number will be created within 24 hours. Still, nothing on December 18. You pay less because they're not paying anyone to support you if something goes wrong. So, if you like no customer support and no options for getting your phone replaced in a reasonable time frame if lost or stolen, think about your options.
