Decent device, Horrid service, stick to Apple and Samsung for now

This is purely a service review. I actually really like the devices. but if anyone is looking and weighing the change over from an apple or Samsung I wouldn't bother. No out and out customer service support (Live chat with apparently no power) , No local shops, crazy repair prices and wait times. I recently complained about 1. The time taken to take a device a customer rep told me was good for free repair under warrantee. I had sent a picture of the issue and we had tried everything from home ( software issue with screen). My unbroken phone was sent to Poland for me to get an email saying my screen is cracked and I must pay £120 for repairs. My screen was uncracked and I have photo proof and the transcript of my chat. Result - Google can do nothing about it as I said no to repair. 2. The device since my decline of repair has taken a very long time to come back. Past the 3 days stated. I asked Google about this upon checking apparently it had arrived today but I didn't accept or answer. That isn't the case and DHL haven't been by. I bought a new pixel device and it WAS delivered yesterday morning by a different courier service so I struggle to see how it was missed. 3. Googles responses are blunt and unhelpful and far from person centred, I provided proof at every point of my complaint and have made no demands except an explanation about how my phone is suddenly cracked and why supposed to be charged. conclusion - nothing as I didn't pay charge or get it repaired. But why would I when it wasn't cracked? Bit of a rant as its fresh but in Short, Google warrantee and service seem to be useless. decent device but if you want service and care stick to the other bigger companies. Apple would have sorted your phone in a local store with a smile.
