Crazy cancellation charge on renewal
Reasonably priced cover initially, the auto-renewal kept creeping up which is sadly normal. The issue was when the latest renewal came out of my bank I cancelled cover on the day of renewal, accepting the £15.99 charge as my oversight. I was charged an additional unknown £30.00 'brokerage' charge that was deducted from my refund. Probably legal but certainly not ethical to charge £45.99 for a cancellation on cover not used. Poor customer service when challenging fees which were not visible on the portal.
