If I could give negative stars on here I would. I do not even know where to start. Please stay away from this company, they are horrible and will put you through a nightmare. We have been renting for 3 years now. Just looking at our home it is beautiful and then you move in and find out the truth. Our floors are uneven from water damage(they claim this isn't true) so all of our furniture leans , I guess all of our furniture was made that way since our floors are perfect. Our windows have no screens and they refuse to put any on and the old wooden windows have crcks all through causing our air and heating bill to be through the roof. We have horrible electrical, we have went through 3 tv's and can't keep a lightbulb for longer than a week before it blows out (no responsibility there either of course), the plumbing is awful, our upstairs tub leaks into the kitchen, when we finally got the guy out to our home he told us the floor was rotted out and to stop using that shower because the company was not going to fix it. All of our outdated appliances constantly tear up and we have to fix it ourselves, we have black mold and was told we would have to pay the costs to move. the list on this is endless.. Now that was the not as bad part.. You can NEVER talk to an actual person, everything is through email and it constantly gets passed to another group so nothing gets resolved. We paid twice the security deposit when we moved in and they swear they don't have it, we are talking about 2,500 dollars. In December our daughter got sick so we went through a company to help with the rent, they constantly stayed in touch with Great Jones about our application and told them we were approved and that the money was coming. In June we got an eviction notice, we have 3 children at home that were terrified. We were to be out of our home by 900 the next morning with nowhere to go, stayed on the phone four hours, long story short Great Jones had been paid in full SINCE APRIL AND WE ALSO HAD 3 MONTHS CREDIT!!!! When we finally spoke to a person and found all this out we were told to just ignore the eviction, yeah because when the sheriff is there to put you out you can just ignore it. No apology no nothing. Fast forward a few months and it was time to resign our lease with no other options at the time we decided to resign. I couldn't get into my portal because of the eviction, was told another department would have to open it up (all this through email), back and forth for 2 weeks and no one helped me so I was told my lease didn't get signed in time so I was unable to renew. We are now taking them to court. These are very dirty people that do not care about anyone, please stay away from them.
