For over 10 years I did not have a virus scanner
For over 10 years I did not have a virus progam ( yes I had windows defender) and did not experience any problems with virus issues.....Today, after reading a consumer test, I decided to buy Bitfender. The first scans show now problems with my PC, no viruses found....nothing ! That's good news ofcourse but makes me wonder WHY I should buy Bitfender....to do what ? I do not feel good about my decision to install Bitdefender; it's not the money (18,- ) but the fact that such companies heavily promote to buy the program while, perhaps, no need ?
