Older biker downsizing…
Being an "older" biker and having always had big adventure bikes and getting used to having to "dismount" when very slow or stopped I wanted/needed to downsize. My son had already dealt with P&H buying his Ducati and highly recommended me to go and have a chat with them which I did. I met Will Love back in May who showed me round the showroom and introduced to the smaller bikes. I tried a KTM390 and was impressed and paid a reserve. I then caught sight on the CFMoto bikes and was told about the 450MT, 60 kilos lighter than my bike and a twin! Although not yet released in the UK, the reviews were outstanding and I switched my order to a 450MT. This was in May and the arrival due in July. Will kept me informed of the progress, but it was slow July August then possibly October. As I had injured my Achilles tendon and can’t ride ‘til September it was not a real problem. A few days later a call from Will, a customer had cancelled his order a different colour but would I like to take over the order! YES please. It was delivered a couple of days ago so a very happy boy. Throughout the whole process Will always returned my calls and answered phone calls and Emails promptly and was very helpful and very knowledgeable about all the bikes I looked at. The reception and service at P&H was of the highest quality, thank you all very much.
