Do not order from here.

I purchased the cupcakes and wine Father’s Day basket. I ordered it on June 16th and it did not ship until June 23rd. I upgraded to the Fed Ex 3 day shipping (which is supposed to be 3 day shipping) and it did arrive on June 26th. It was late, not because of shipping but because it didn’t even get sent until a week after it was ordered. When it arrived it was not three cupcakes as ordered but one large cream filled cake. The wine was also placed on top of the cake and it was totally squished. The ice pack that was put in the package was totally melted and dripping all over. When I reached out to Hazelton’s I was told I should have upgraded to overnight shipping because I ordered a perishable item. I did not order a perishable item, I ordered 3 cupcakes not a cream filled cake. On their website it says under product details if an item is deemed perishable and they suggest the upgrade to the overnight shipping. The product details for the 3 cupcakes and wine did not say any such thing. I have the screen shot to show that was the case. They have declined to give me a refund because I agreed to the terms and conditions which state that perishable items should be shipped overnight. Again, I did not order a perishable item. The terms and conditions also state that they have a right to make a substitution if they do not have an item in stock. If that is the case then they shouldn’t substitute something perishable that did need the overnight shipping. Regardless of what else was shipped with the wine, the wine should also not be packaged on top of the other items. They refused my request for a refund. I even asked for a refund minus the wine that arrived in tact but they have stopped any communication with me. Do not order from here!
