STAY AWAY, unless you like more stress than money

STAY AWAY, (small fleet account). Unless you want to be a busy fool. I brought 16 months and after 3 months active i realised i don't like them / their culture. I run a small haulage company and thought this would be another string to my bow. Actually more headache, costs and hassle, so much so id love them to refund me my money and i walk away and put this down to a bad experience. My clear message is stay away from the company. Pros: Independence Cons: Everything else Post Invoices and PODs, then not recieved even though its all uploaded onto the system. Expensive subscription Long hours - ( I mean days on the road to to make profit) Competition - Lots of competiton so expect to quote less than the jobs worth Company's can write bad feedback even though you bent over backwards to get the job done and then you end up having to not charge them. As CX honors their feedback which means you dont get bookings as the feedback makes you look bad even though its one sided. Then your the victim of corporate bullying as then other members use it against you to have a reason not to pay or renegotiate the agreed price for the job you did. Payment - you would have to post most invoices. Long waiting time for payment- 45 to 60 days (end of following month) becoming standard. Yes, you generally have to wait three months for your money on average. So plan a 3-4 month cash contingency plan or Invoice factoring. Otherwise you could end up bankrupt. Even when you call the cx account manager, they say i must take them to small claims court. Which is the opposite of what i was told when joining "they vet all members to ensure they dont take on the wrong clients to allow good payment and experiences" Thats when you do get thru as they never answer, you have to leave a message, they say they will call you back in 4 hrs and don't. They have the audacity to email and say i wasn't available on the phone. If they call me i will answer. THE WORSE PART is, i enquired about changing my address via email, as i wanted just like my business a Trading and Correspondence address. Worse question i could every ask. They kept threatening to close my account if i dont supply proof of address even though i hadn't moved and i own both properties. Despite communicating this clearly they suspended my account today!!!!!! I called straight away and had to leave another message despite the fact i was still waiting for my original call from message i left the day before. Not enough return loads. You can return empty or sleep in your van. The app: It's the only positive thing about the cx as you can do everything on the go, upload pods, create invoices and track your drivers. As i said their system allows a paperless efficient close to your job / transaction, but everyone ones posted Invoice and POD's.
