Rated 0 if possible. I recently tried switching to this utility provider after a friend recommended them. I contacted customer support to understand the details and was quoted £214 for a two-bed flat on a rolling contract, which I accepted. They asked me to upload my tenancy agreement and proof of address, but even before I submitted these, my application was approved and I was sent a contract stating I could start using energy with unlimited usage from that day. I spoke with multiple customer support agents, and none of them mentioned that the offer was only valid if you move in within six weeks. Had they checked my documents properly or informed me of this condition upfront, I would have understood—even if my application had been rejected. Instead, they approved the switch, issued a contract, and I used my gas heaters assuming the usage was unlimited. A week later, I was shocked to find out the contract had been cancelled because my move-in date was four months earlier—information that no one asked for or explained when I specifically asked about the plan details. As a result, I’m now paying my previous supplier after having used a significant amount of gas. This was an extremely poor and misleading experience. I would definitely not recommend this company.
