Worst Renting Experience
One of the worst renting experience. Property Address: 27 Finkin Lane, Wf3 4NJ The story starts with Richard kendalls agent showing us a property and had zero knowledge about it. The guy showed the house and a garage. Considering the space of the garage and the house, we put up the application and offered extra rent to acquire the property. Little did we know what we are stepping into. As soon as we gave a notice to our previous landlord about leaving the property and close to move in date, Richard Kendalls Agent "Alice Duckett" said, we are sorry to show you the garage but we can't give you the garage. We had no option but to move in with no garage and same extra rent. Right after we moved in, the walls of the property starts to get wet. I contacted Alice Duckett from Richard Kendalls Horbury Office about the situation and she with the landlady put a blame on us and said, you guys are drying clothes in there and that is causing those wet walls. However, that wasn't true as after some time, the water starts dripping from the ceiling. Upon putting pressue and involving the council to sort this issue, we came to know that the chimney top is damaged and water is coming from a big hole. Richard Kendalls and the Landlady "Alex" knew about it and they tried hiding that by applying fresh paint. I found some proofs of it online when I searched the property address later and the pictures came out. There were clear water leaks visible on the walls of the rooms and living room. I tried reporting this issue for months as the property feels super wet and we couldn't heat the property properly. My wife was pregnant and the cold was really unbearable. The council came in, did the inspection and really did noting else other then just sending a notice to the landlady and never followed back as well. A few months gone by and we passed the winter time and then came another issue, the BEES flooding in to our living room in numbers each day. In the chimney whole, there was a huge wasps hive. I chased 2 months with Richard Kendalls to sort this issue out and they were just ignoring it. Finally after 2 months, they sent pest control unit who were not able to go on the roof and the roofer wasn't agreeing on going to the roof because of the Bees. With all those issues and worst customer care, I had to leave the property. Now I left the property, the landlady and Richard kendalls are trying to take the deposit money as there is a small paint pint they found on a cupboard. They also want to take more money out of my deposit because I had internet setup in the property "With their Concent" which they don't remember now. Such worst estate agents, who will do anything to rip you off.
