Lacking transparency on fulfillment times - don't pay for expedited shipping
I recently placed an order for a gallon of flavor with 2 day AM shipping. After 48 hours without a shipping confirmation I reached out. I was told that gallon orders take an additional 7-10 days and that their policy is on the website. I finally found this policy buried in the FAQ section. If this policy had been in the website footer as "shipping policy" or "fulfillment policy" I would have seen it. If the fulfillment policy had been asterisked in the product description or at checkout, I would have seen it. If I had seen this policy, I wouldn't have placed this order. I've had a similar issue with other online companies like this one before, but I've never been met with such a callous or short sited response. I've been told my order cannot be cancelled so Ill be paying in full for product I can't use and ill be paying expedited shipping for an item that wont ship until days after I was expecting it delivered. There are a number of ways this could have been handled. If they had even sent a note in the order confirmation about the fulfillment time I could have responded immediately. Unfortunately OOO Flavors seems to value a one time 200 dollar purchase over a potential lifetime customer. If you need your product on any sensitive timeline, I wouldn't advise working with this company. As a company, you shouldn't be offering expedited shipping at 5X plus rates without also clearly stating your fulfillment policy.
