Problems not being dealt with
I subscribed to iDrive a few months ago as I needed a replacement cloud backup after a bad experience with the last company I used. To begin with everything worked well and then all of a sudden the backups stopped and I was getting error messages saying I had no internet connection when the internet was working perfectly normally. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the backups to run again and, in fact, I wasn't even able to log into the iDrive app so I attempted to do a live chat, which was an absolute waste of time. I then found a contact number for UK phone support and called them but, three or four calls later, I still have no cloud backup (for almost 4 weeks now) and, although the issue was supposed to have been escalated to a specialist, I've still not had a response and, quite frankly, I feel I'm probably not likely to get a response because the service has been abyssmal. If they'd sorted out the issues promptly, I would have been happy to recommend iDrive but, right now, I would urge you not to go with them because they simply do not care about their customers and their support staff don't seem to have a good level of training. Very poor service!!!
