Problems not being dealt with

I subscribed to iDrive a few months ago as I needed a replacement cloud backup after a bad experience with the last company I used. To begin with everything worked well and then all of a sudden the backups stopped and I was getting error messages saying I had no internet connection when the internet was working perfectly normally. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the backups to run again and, in fact, I wasn't even able to log into the iDrive app so I attempted to do a live chat, which was an absolute waste of time. I then found a contact number for UK phone support and called them but, three or four calls later, I still have no cloud backup (for almost 4 weeks now) and, although the issue was supposed to have been escalated to a specialist, I've still not had a response and, quite frankly, I feel I'm probably not likely to get a response because the service has been abyssmal. If they'd sorted out the issues promptly, I would have been happy to recommend iDrive but, right now, I would urge you not to go with them because they simply do not care about their customers and their support staff don't seem to have a good level of training. Very poor service!!!

AVOID LEBARA AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Absolutely nothing has gone right since I tried to port my number to Lebara. The number was originally ported across from Vodafone on 22 December 2022 but last week (Friday 10 February 2023) I discovered that I was being charged by Lebara and Vodafone as Vodafone said the porting had not been done by Lebara, even though my correct number was showing on my Lebara account. So far it has taken a week and probably in excess of 15 calls to Lebara and about 12 calls to Vodafone to try to sort out the mess but it has still not been sorted. I got an email on Wednesday morning saying the service had ported successfully and I was actually able to use the ported number on the Lebara network for a few hours before I got a message saying "emergency calls only". After another couple of calls to Lebara (and a call to Vodafone who confirmed the number had successfully ported from them) my phone started working again yesterday late morning and it was still working this morning but then, suddenly, it's gone on the blink again and is saying "emergency calls only". Yet another call to a poorly trained call centre person at Lebara and still no result. Lebara's customer service is absolutely appalling. Poorly trained staff who will not transfer the call to someone who can resolve the issues. They keep telling me my phones must be locked yet both my phones were bought SIM free unlocked and I have NEVER had a phone that was locked to a network. I am now waiting fro a call back from a manager but, after 5 days of the most incredible frustration, I have no faith in Lebara whatsoever. IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING CHANGING TO LEBARA, DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! They are not fit for purpose in any shape or form. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING LACK OF SERVICE!!!!
