If I could give zero stars I would - sexist, poor organisation

If I could give zero stars I would. Firstly, my company, of which I am MD, have been banking with HSBC for years. When I became MD, they set me up with an online banking account. This worked for a number of months, and then my access went away. When I called the bank, it took nearly two hours to resolve - I was first told I was suspended, and then that my account was never active. The second point is a bold-faced lie. I have been offered only £100 in compensation for hours on the phone. Secondly, we have been trying to add a signatory for over a year. The 'mandate' to do this has been rejected twice, because of incorrect advice from HSBC staff on the phone. They take no responsibility. Thirdly, when my Chairman and I went into a business banking branch to try and sort these things out, there were not actually any business banking individuals at that branch - another bold faced lie. Finally, some women in complaints, Kayleigh Thomas, keeps referring to me as 'Mrs' even though my title is clearly 'Dr' and there is no indication of my marital status. This is clear on my bank card and when I was made an online banking user. I find this incredibly sexist, and she has continued to use this in email correspondence. I would suggest you stay far, far away from HSBC Business Banking, especially as a small company.
