Poor quality design and extortionate fees
Within 4 months of purchase of a laptop, cracks developed around the underside screws despite careful treatment and consistent use of cases. customer service told me it would be £45 just to ship it to them excluding the fees to repair. later on they increased this price to £73.78 without notice due to 'backlog'. I also received conflicting information on the packaging of the order, at first told it would be packaged for me and then later told I would need to package it myself. I was told the damage would likely not be covered by warranty despite multiple computer specialists telling me the issues were due to over tightened screws and poor manufacturing. For the £750 price this is shameful, I have had plenty of much cheaper laptops in the past that lasted me years with none of these kinds of damages. After hearing the terrible reviews of people who have shipped their devices I am hesitant to do the same.
