Worst utility supplier in the world…
Worst utility supplier in the world possibly. I moved into new apartment in November, and as bord gais was a supplier I hate to sign is before my supplier takes over. I was with them for 10 days. Got all the closing bills and my supplier took over. 2 months later I get a random email from board gais energy that my account was successfully open. I instantly call them and said that I didn't do that as I already have a supplier and have no plans of changing. Lodge complaint to witch I never got a reference number. I had to close that account that I didn't open, they asked me for meter read before closing witch doesn't make sense as I didn't open the account and I have no idea what reading did they have in the first place. After account being open for less then a day they send me 300 euro bill. I was in the phone with every 2 weeks as they keep sending me bill for 300 euros. Lodged probably 3 complaint in total, didn't get the reference number again and again, as the customer service person that I will get it in the email and assured me that everything will be taken care off. What a lie, they stopped sending me bills but transferred that made up debt to a third party company that keeps trying to contact for a debt collection. Now in work with CRU to sort this out for me as my approach talking to them is pointless. Save your nerves and avoid any dealings with them.
