Mint Mobile needs more training of the team!
I just signed up with Mint and the experience was less than stellar! The first person I dealt with was very lackluster and I felt like they really rather be doing something else! After signing up they transferred me to a someone who was to help set up my eSIM in the phone. He was very professional, friendly and helpful but he was not able to set up the eSIM thinking it was my phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) that only had eSIM and no SIM slots available on the phone.WELL ABOUT 40 minutes later we hang up. No joy! I am retired IT Engineer and was like no I don’t think it was the correct eSIM QR code being supplied. I loaded the Mint Mobile app and used the account activation code to install and then activated the phone on Mint. Took about 10 minutes just trying different techniques because I was trying to install and activate the eSIM from a European location over VPN. So far the connectivity with calls and texts coming in to the phone has been very good and rather quick as well. I can say the representative did try but I believe his training is not very good and if someone took time to teach him he would be very helpful with phone activation issues.
