Impossible to Cancel, Unprofessional Agent Mocked Me
I am shocked by how badly Lycamobile treats its customers. I subscribed to a plan that I later wanted to cancel, and I tried to stop the auto-renewal via their live chat. What followed was the worst customer service experience I've ever had — and I say that as someone who works with customers myself. I spoke with an agent named Bilal. Instead of helping, he: Replied inconsistently and often ignored my messages. Never confirmed if the auto-renewal was actually cancelled. Laughed at me and wrote “hahahah” when I expressed my frustration. Told me to “take it easy” — like this was a joke. Tried to end the chat without resolving anything, then claimed he needed “verification” but hadn’t even asked me any questions until the very end. I provided my full name and date of birth, but they sent an OTP to a SIM that has never worked — and refused to send confirmation by email, even though it was on file. I have screenshots of the entire chat. This is not a joke. I’m not exaggerating. If I behaved like that at my job, I would be fired immediately. It's not just bad service — it shows a total lack of basic human respect. Lycamobile has made it nearly impossible to cancel a subscription, and then sends you in circles when you try. The only reason I’m writing this is to warn others. If you care about your time, money, or being treated with basic decency — stay away from this company. I expect Lycamobile to respond to this publicly and confirm that the subscription and auto-renewal for +46 727 720 890 has been cancelled.
